Our first Four Winds

We had Ms. Rebecca and Mrs. Corrigan visit us today to teach us about the sun and shadows. We learned a lot by watching a puppet show, doing an experiment and getting our shadows traced. 

Caterpillars, butterflies and symmetry, oh my!

We can draw caterpillars and butterflies!

Today we learned that butterfly wings are symmetrical. We practiced "find 2 before you glue"! 

Wow! Look how big they got!

Our caterpillars really grew over the weekend. Many of them shed their skin today. 

A Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday

We enjoyed watching a very hungry caterpillar puppet show today! Then we had a special snack for Ms. Raymond's birthday- grapes that looked like caterpillars. The eyes didn't like being in the refrigerator. 

New friends

We are so excited about our new friends! We have 10 monarch caterpillars that we are going to watch transform. Aren't they cute? Can you see where they ate through one nice leaf?
